Anubhav - 2007


"Anubhav-2007" programme was organized by DCOSWS on 25th March 2008 from 5.30 p.m. at the auditorium of the Sri Satya Sai International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. On that occasion DCOSWS felicitated four Legend artists 1. Ustad R. Fahimuddin Khan Daggar, (Vocalist) 2. Ustad Asad Ali Khan, (Musician Rudraveena) 3. Shri Valmiki Bannerjee, (Dancer Choriographer). By the Chief Guest , Smt. Ambika Soni, Union Miniser of Culture.

Before felicitation there was a presentation of DCOSWS report with multimedia presentation then read citation of recipient along with multimedia presentation of activity of four recipient artists. After felicitation chief guest gave a speech and then all recipient gave acceptance speeches, after speeches all guests came back to their respected sits on the audience by escorting them to witness the cultural show. Cultural programme was started by Ganesh Vandana dance in Oddissi form by Kum. M. Meenakshi then there was a presentation with multimedia programme on drag addiction by students from Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, they also did cooperation for Anubhav-2007 behind the stage and the in front of the stage. After presentation Modern School DCOSWS staged a ballet by underprivileged children from New Delhi with the cooperation of Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. This ballet was composed story writing and directed by Shri Arindam Dasgupta and he was assisted by Smt. Madhumita Sen and Shri Sanjiv Bhattacharya. This ballet was appreciated by the audience.

Smt Ambika Soni was attended the function as Chief Guest. Pandit Debu Chaudhuri, patron and Shri Sanjay Bhattacharyya, Patron was attended the function as a gust of honor. On behalf of DCOSWS Smt. Rani Ashok welcomed the guests and delivered a speech on the function. Smt Ambika Soni felicitated the artists and delivered his speech. Because of short time guest of honor did not delivered any speech . Pandit Debu Chaudhuri Ingurated Anubhav-2007 Souvenir then came to audience sit and cultural programme was started. The auditorium was 70% occupied by the invited guests and function was gone off without any major lapse.
